In Marketing, Dashboards are our go-to places for stats and info. The issue most schools face is that sometimes, one dashboard can either provide info which we are not interested in, or (and this is something we come across very often), schools might want their dashboard to provide specific info which only they are interested in. It is very difficult to have this kind of info when you go for an off-the-shelf product, because all the fields within the dashboard would have been pre-selected and cannot be customised.

However, the fact that Intrinsiq is a fully customisable system, makes it possible for us to meet these client requests and create dashboards which vary from client to client based on their needs. Let’s take a look at the different dashboards used by the different departments that make up the school.

The Academics Dashboard

Intrinsiq provides an Academics Dashboard to allow the academics team to see important details right from their home tab. This can be filtered by Centre and Course Type, however, if the school would like these tabs to be customized, Intrinsiq can also make that happen. 

The standard fields into which the Academics dashboard is divided includes, but is not limited to:

1. Attendance Monitoring
2. Classing
3. Upcoming Intakes
4. Upcoming Private lessons

However, if for example, a school that does double banking during peak season prefers to add a field which differentiates between a morning General Course and an afternoon General course, that is also possible. Or if a school wants to differentiate between students attending face-to-face courses, or hybrid courses, or even online courses….that can be done too.

The Accommodation Dashboard

Intrinsiq provides an accommodation dashboard to allow the accommodations team to see important details from their home tab as well, just like all the other departments. This can be filtered by Centre, however, if the school would like these tabs to be customized in order to reflect better the way their school operates, we can also make that happen. 

The standard Accommodation Dashboard covers all the most important areas that the accommodation team has to deal with on a daily basis, including but not limited to:

1. Accommodation By Status - such as host family applications; a list of families that need to be visited or checked; info on host family visits bookings, pending info (if for example, certain host families have missing information), as well as a list of active and inactive host families.
2. Students - this tab includes information on student bookings such as, whether or not the student has been placed in accommodation, arrival day and time, a list of students arriving over a 7-day period (which is ideal for planning purposes), as well as a list of students leaving over a 7-day period.
3. Transfers - for example transfers that still need booking; or transfers which are awaiting confirmation; and information on student flight details.
4. Accommodation - this includes information on accommodation licenses and when they expire.

The Accounting Dashboard

The Accounts/Admin dashboard offers a timeline for every student from the time of application to confirmation. It also gives info on whether the student needs a visa, or whether this particular student is still pending payments. This dashboard is particularly useful for the admin and accounts teams especially if they have to chase students, parents or agents for payments. The fact that the info is presented in the form of a timeline also makes it very efficient when looking at the student’s journey. Like all the other dashboards mentioned previously, this too can be customisable depending on the school’s requirements.
